New Jersey offers two free freshwater fishing days Saturday and Sunday June 3-4, 2000. Children and their parents can experience freshwater fishing at New Jerseys public fresh waters without a fishing license or a trout stamp. However, all other freshwater regulations, including size and daily catch limits, remain in effect. For more information please check the New Jersey Fish & Wildlife Digest. It is available at most tackle dealers throughout the state or visit their website at: www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw

Children will learn about freshwater and saltwater flies and how to make a casting can. National Fishing Week promotional material and fishing tackle were donated by TECOM/Vinnell Services, Base Support Contractor employees. We thank all for their generous donation.
