Hunting and Fishing Expositions Offer Fun For Families

Hunting and fishing expositions are perfect winter outings for families in the Northeast. There are several upcoming hunting and fishing shows that offer a variety of activities for the entire family. Some of the many attractions at the hunting and fishing shows are: Instruction seminars by some of the top hunters and fisherman in the country, the latest in new equipment & sports technology, Wildlife exhibits, charters and lodges, crafts and clothing sales, youth hunting & fishing seminars, fly casting demos and many more fun events. Vendors at the shows usually offer discounted merchandise, along with two for one bargains on fishing lures that are always a good purchase. I try to stock up on favorite fishing lures for freshwater and saltwater fishing. Everyone likes a bargain, especially when you can save a few dollars on those higher priced lures. Terminal tackle such as, hooks, swivels, snaps, and connectors can be purchased in bulk quantities if you make your own rigs. Some upcoming shows are: New York Boat Show Jan. 6- 14th, Philadelphia Boat Show Jan. 3- 7th, Garden State Sportsman's Show - Edison, NJ- Jan. 11- 14th, Greater Philadelphia Sports Travel & Outdoor Show - Fort Washington, NJ - Jan. 17- 21st, Somerset Fly Fishing Show - Somerset, NJ - Jan. 26- 28th, Seaport Sport Fishing Expo.- Toms River, NJ - Feb. 2- 4th, New Jersey Boat Show -Raritian Center, Edison, NJ - Feb. 8- 11th, Northeast Fly Fishing Expo.- Meadowlands Expo Center- Secaucus, NJ - Feb. 23-25th, World Fishing & Outdoor Expo.
