Special Notice to Associate Members and Sponsors
(from Jersey Coast Anglers Association January 2001 Newsletter)
JCAA thanks all it Associate Members
and Sponsors for helping to make JCAA very successful in 2000. We have been able to
be involved successfully in many more issues because of your involvement and support. Last
year the JCAA Executive Board decided to make a change in the time of payment of annual
dues for all Associate Members. In prior years, membership was renewed on a different
month for each member. This policy was workable when there was a small number of Associate
Members. The large number of current members creates too much extra work for our small
volunteer staff throughout the year. This year like last year, all Associate Memberships
will be renewed and dues payable during January. The Membership Secretary will send
renewal notices to all Members before January 1. This new policy has been in effect for
Member Clubs for several years and has worked very well.
All Sponsor renewals will also be due
in January of 2001. Special allowances will be made for any Sponsor who paid in the last
half of 2000.
If a special circumstance arises that
may create a difficulty for a Sponsor some arrangement can be made with the JCAA. Please
contact the Sponsorship Chairman at the phone number listed in each monthly newsletter. We
hope this change will not be an inconvenience to you as we greatly value your continued
support.
