JCAA would like to thank all those who helped promote our tournament and congratulate all the winners. Forty-six participants competed in the four-day tournament which began on August 3rd and ended on August 6th. The weather was poor on Thursday, unfishable on Friday and very nice on the weekend. The fluke cooperated for some, but others had a tough time putting a catch together despite mostly ideal drifting conditions throughout most of our state. However, some nice fish were caught and many of our participants and their crews enjoyed a great day on the water. Unfortunately, no one could come up with a 12-lb plus fluke that would have won 25K.
Note: Based on 175 entrants, prizes would have been $5000 for 1st, $2500 for 2nd, and $1500 for 3rd. Therefore, based on 46 entrants, the final results and prizes are as follows:
