The 12th Annual Jersey Coast Fluke Tournament, the largest fishing tournament of its kind on the East Coast, may exceed $110,000 in cash and prizes.  And you don’t even have to catch a fish to win the Grand Prize - a Yamaha 4 stroke powered Century 1801 CC (center console) boat with a LoadRite trailer, a package valued at $31,000!

A Unique Concept in Tournaments

The 11th Annual Jersey Coast Fluke Tournament is a unique concept that is actually twelve mini-tournaments in one, each with its own set of prizes.  The contest is held from twelve ports (see list of ports included in this brochure, each with its own centrally located weigh-station).  You register for a specific port and compete only against other boats registered from that port for a generous list of port prizes.

Twelve Ports - Twelve Prize Packages

Contestants from each port will be awarded prizes based on the heaviest fish weighed from that port only.  You compete for over $4,000 in prizes for your port.  The port prizes are: 1st place $1,200 sponsored by Trump Marina Hotel Casino, 2nd place $750 gift certificate sponsored by Boater’s World, and at least 8 other great prizes by these sponsors: Raymarine Electronics, Maui Jim Sunglasses, Canyon Gear Outfitters, Hi-Seas, American Fishing Wire, Fenwick, Abu Garcia, Nor'East & New Jersey Angler Magazines, Minn Kota and others. Remember that you only compete against those boats registered in your port for these prizes. You do not have to be present to win the port prizes.

The Drawing within the Tournament

In addition to your chance to win any of the port prizes by using your fishing skills, every boat entered has a shot at winning the Grand Prize, a boat/motor/trailer package, and a host of door prizes.  These will be given away as part of a huge drawing at a gala awards ceremony to be held at the Trump Marina Hotel Casino in Atlantic City on June 16th, 2006.  At least one member from your crew must be present to win these prizes.  That means that in addition to your chance to win a port prize, you can win the Grand Prize and other goodies regardless of your boat’s standings in the weigh-in portion of the tournament. The number of guests you can bring to the ceremony may be limited due to room capacity and fire regulations. More information will be provided prior to the event.

Welcome to the TRUMP MARINA HOTEL CASINO

This year we are again especially proud to have Atlantic City’s famous Trump Marina Hotel Casino hosting the Jersey Coast Fluke Tournament Gala Awards Ceremony.  All contestants are urged to attend this great event scheduled for Friday evening, June 16th, 2006 for a chance to win the Grand Prize and other great door prizes. Early arrivals, before 3PM, will receive $5.00 discount coupons for Trump’s Bayside Buffet and Upstairs Cafe.  There will be cash bars open during the ceremony.  The Grand Prize will be on display, along with dozens of door prizes.  JCAA T-shirts and hats will be available. You can meet the board and members of JCAA, representatives from Century, Yamaha, Boater’s World, Raymarine, Maui Jim, Canyon Gear, Reel Saver, The New Jersey Angler Magazine, and others.  Port prizes will be presented at the event.

The management of Trump Marina Hotel Casino invites all tournament entrants to come and enjoy their facilities both during and after the awards ceremony.  If you want to make a night out of it, a limited number of specially priced rooms will be available at the hotel for contestants.  For discount hotel reservations, dockage fees and additional information call Trump at 1-800-777 8477 and mention that you are a participant in the JCAA fluke tournament and reference group code: FLUKE06.

In addition, JCAA, a totally volunteer association, works diligently with local and state government to increase fishing access, expand fishing opportunities and also operates one of the most successful youth education programs anywhere in the country.  By entering the Jersey Coast Fluke Tournament we all benefit as the proceeds go to help JCAA continue its work.  JCAA is a non profit 501 C-3 association, which is the voice of many of your fishing clubs.
