Becoming an Outdoors Woman
New Jersey offers two "Becoming an Outdoors Woman"
workshops, an upland and a coastal version, and several other opportunities each year. This year the J.C.A.A. Jersey Coast Anglers Association, 1997 Youth Education Award
The 1997 Youth Education Award will be presented to the Newark Bait & Fly Casters for their promotion of youth fishing and community service over a number of years. The 1997 Youth Education Award will be presented at the J.C.A.A., April meeting.
YOUTH FISHING ACTIVITY BULLETIN BOARD
Anastasia (Marine Science) Project at Long Branch School
Another "Hooked On Fishing Not On Drugs" school project will take place in May. Children will learn from the following guest speakers: New Jersey Sea Grant, J.C.A.A. Youth Education Committee, Long Branch Police Dept., Sandy Hook Park Rangers, and Steves Bait & Tackle.
