Crabbing Seminar

The Jersey Coast Anglers Association Youth Education Committee will host a crabbing seminar at the Jersey Coast Anglers Association's Fluke Fishing Awards Ceremony, held at Island Beach State Park.

Grant Received From Outdoor Technologies Group

The Jersey Coast Anglers Association was presented a $1000.00 Aquatic Environmental Grant for the Fish It Out project that was held at Husky Brook Pond, Fort Monmouth, NJ. The Aquatic Environmental Grant was submitted July 96. Included in the Fish It Out mail in packet was documentation that contained photographs of the event held at Fort Monmouth. Approximately 70 people participated in the week long event, working during their lunch hour to clean debris from in and around Husky Brook Pond. A disabled ramp was decided on last year but funds were limited. Now we are able to go forward using the $1000.00 for disabled access at Husky Brook Pond and a 12' by 16' deck that disabled anglers can fish from.
