JCAA Raffle Drawing At Next Meeting
(from Jersey Coast Anglers Association April 1994 Newsletter)
Time is just about up for the latest raffle. We hope all member clubs have done their best to sell as many chances as possible for this prize worthy raffle. Now you must get the ticket stubs back to JCAA in time for the April 26 meeting, when the drawing will be held. If you are still in possession of tickets, sold or not, please get them to your club rep so he can bring them to the meeting.
And speaking of prizes, this raffle has some beauties! From Penn, a International 50SW with matching stand up rod. Abu-Garcia donated four Ambassaduer 7000 reels with matching saltwater conventional rods. Steve Goione provided 2 beautiful gamefish prints, signed and framed. There are squid pouches from J & J Tackle; sets of Drone Spoons courtesy L. V. Huntington & Company; a charter trip from Capt. Mike's Charters; a free captains study course; lure sets from Ultimus Tackle; a custom Lamiglas surf stick with Penn 550SS spinning reel; sets of Beachcomber wood plugs; four one year subscriptions to the Fisherman magazine; four gallons of Siperstein antifouling bottom paint; and three Catch 'n Release computer fishing games.
That's over $4500 in prizes, boys and girls, so be on hand for the drawing. It's been reported that Gary Caputi did not buy any chances after his questionable good fortune in the previous raffle drawing, so we all stand a better chance of taking home a prize. Good luck to you all.
