Cindy Zipf, Executive Director of Clean Ocean Action, will be presented with the 1993 JCAA Sports Person of the Year award at the next meeting. We hope to see all of the member clubs represented at this meeting. Cindy Zipf, and Clean Ocean Action, have accomplished many of the goals they set more than ten years ago. The future of saltwater fishing depends on a clean marine environment that Cindy has worked so hard to restore and maintain. There are still many battles to be fought to protect our marine ecology so while we honor Cindy for her accomplishments, we should consider her goals for the future.
