Port Winners for JCAA 13th Annual Fluke Tournament
781 Boats Entered in 2007 Tournament

The 13th Annual Jersey Coast Tournament was a great success. 781 boats competed in the twelve ports throughout the state. The 120 winning fish averaged
22.9" and 4.9 pounds. The largest fluke
weighed in at 10.62 pounds at Jersey City and was caught by Pat Broderick of Vernon,
NJ. This annual tournament provides funds to help Jersey Coast Anglers Association continue its fight to protect the marine resource and the rights of the recreational fisherman.
The 13th Awards Ceremony went off without a hitch at Trumps Marina Casino Hotel. (Click here to view photos from the awards ceremony.) It was as always a great success and the Seafood Buffet at Trumps Marina Casino Hotel got rave reviews from the people who ate there. Trumps Marina Casino Hotel was, as always, a gracious host. We had over 1700 in attendance. There will be a complete wrap-up in the next newspaper including the list of many stores and manufacturers that donated the over 100 door prizes.
The winner of the Yamaha powered Century Boat and LoadRite Trailer was Steve Amato of Tuckerton, NJ. Congratulations to Steve and his crew. The survey raffle was won by James Dzbenski of Shohola, PA.
