It is that time of year when most of us recreational fishermen are taking off old line and taking inventory of things we need to get for next year. Some of us actually get cabin fever faster than others. So it is show time! Jersey Coast Anglers Association has to get the word out to all recreational fishermen to inform them with the correct information about the environment and the resource. Not all fishermen in New Jersey know where to get the information. That is why we attend as many shows as we can. But we need volunteers to work the booths at these shows to get the word out. We have three shows that we are committed to. They are the Outdoor Sportsmen’s Show at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, which runs January 8-11, the Saltwater Sportsmen’s Seminar January 24th, and The Atlantic City International Power Boat Show at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City on February 4-8.
