WHAT IS IT?: The Salt Water Sportsman National Seminar Series, presented by Interlux Yacht Finishes, is an eight stop national tour conducted by the editors of Salt Water Sportsman Magazine. The editors are joined by a panel of top regional angling experts. Each show is a one day sportfishing seminar geared to the region in which it’s being held. Over 90,000 participants have attended the seminars since the Tour’s inception in 1988. The National Seminar Series is the only educational sportfishing program endorsed by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA). IT IS THE NATION’S PREMIER EDUCATIONAL COURSE ON MARINE SPORTFISHING TECHNIQUES!
WHERE ?: The New Jersey edition will be held at the Jersey Shore, at Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre, 400 Cedar Ave.,West Long Branch, NJ.
WHEN?: Saturday, January 24, 2004. Seminars begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 4:00 p.m. There’s a one hour lunch break at noon.
WHO WILL BE THERE?: George Poveromo –Senior Editor for Salt Water Sportsman Magazine and Host of George Poveromo’s World of Saltwater Fishing on ESPN2, will host the program. Poveromo will be joined by Gary Caputi, Richard Henderson, Harry Vernon III, and Captains Phil Delaney, Terry Sullivan, Howard Bogan, Bruce Miller and Lou Grazioso.
HOW MUCH?:Tickets are $45.00 each. Participants receive a free comprehensive course textbook, a one year subscription or extension to Salt Water Sportsman, one Roffer’s Offshore Ocean-Fishing Forecast Analysis, one log of Double-Strike Chum, and chances to win valuable door prizes. The Grand Prize to be awarded that afternoon is a bonefishing trip for two to the Bahamas’ Bimini Big Game Resort & Marina.
